Over the past 25 years, I have built forensic software, managed military network and intelligence operations, taught university courses, and written technical books and peer-reviewed papers. The common thread is straightforward: taking complex systems and making them work reliably, hold up under legal scrutiny, and make sense to the people who rely on them.
What I do
I advise organizations on cross-platform digital investigations (Windows, macOS, Linux), evidence handling, and forensic tool validation. When an investigation or legal dispute hinges on digital evidence, the collection and analysis process must be sound and repeatable.
Engineering teams often struggle to explain what they built to attorneys, board members, or enterprise buyers. I author technical white papers, architectural gap analyses, and formal documentation that translate deep engineering into clear, defensible prose without watering down the technical substance.
I help founders and technical product teams connect engineering capability with commercial reality. That includes shaping product architecture, market positioning, and user documentation so customers understand what the software does and why it matters.
I bring the engineering fundamentals to deliver functioning, integrated full-stack AI systems rather than just strategy documents and recommendations. I can explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and quickly grasp highly ambiguous environments.
